Job summary

Health Care Resource Centers is seeking a licensed nurse for a 12-week temporary assignment to support dispensing operations in a substance use treatment program. The role involves administering daily medications and maintaining dispensing equipment within compliance guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN/RN license (CA), CPR certification, and are comfortable using EMR systems. A background in chemical dependency is preferred, with mandatory drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/RN license in CA.
• Current CPR certification.
• EMR & computer proficiency desired.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per program policy and medical protocols (Methadone and Suboxone).
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records/reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for distribution/storage of controlled substances per CFR.
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA/state regs (if POA granted).
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
