Job summary

Health Care Resource Centers is seeking a dispensing nurse for a 12-week assignment. The role involves administering medications, maintaining dispensing equipment, and managing inventory in a treatment setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current California LPN/RN license and CPR certification. EMR proficiency and experience in chemical dependency are preferred, with adherence to regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in the State of California, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Proficiency with EMR/computer systems desirable.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward individuals in treatment.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols, including Methadone and Suboxone.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, maintain equipment.
• Produce and maintain records/reports per company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances per CFRs.
• Order, receive, and stock medication in compliance with DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
