Job summary

Del Sol, Inc. is seeking a temporary janitor to perform custodial duties ensuring buildings are healthy, safe, and sanitary. The role requires a cell phone, ability to work in the US, and passing a background check. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5pm–10pm from December 21 through January 5.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and meeting rooms, floors, restrooms, restocking supplies, and following safety protocols. Must have at least 1 year janitorial experience and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have proven working experience as Cleaner/Janitor.
• Must be able to respond and act quickly.
• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for buildings to contract standards.
• Clean offices/meeting rooms/all accessible spaces.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and dispensers.
• Refill all soap dispensers and restock all paper products.
• Empty all garbage and/or recycling as required by the contract.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces including desks, chairs, counters, fixtures and cubicles.
• Clean kitchens/sinks/countertops/outside of appliances and/or additional cleaning as required by contract.
• Follow safety protocols when using cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals.
• Perform all daily, weekly and monthly duties.
• Support special projects and quarterly work as assigned.
• Perform all duties as assigned.

Must have a cell phone, be able to work in the US and be able to pass a background check. This is Monday - Friday position 5pm - 10pm from December 21st - January 5th.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and Care for buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained according to contractual standards:
• Clean Offices/Meeting Rooms/all accessible spaces
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors and dispensers

Additional Responsibilities:

• Secure Storage areas and offices that require to be locked after services are performed
• Ensure Cleaning Materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
• Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies
• Report on all safety violations, improper usage of company property and environmental concerns
• Report all injuries or incidents to the Night janitor Lead immediately
• Make a note and or notify the Night Janitor Lead of equipment repairs and or replacement as needed
• Notify Night Janitor Lead of any duties that need to be performed outside of your daily scope of work.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, operate equipment, and lift up to 45 pounds

Sensory Demands:

Many of the cleaning materials give off noxious fumes and have powerful odors. If not handled properly, the cleaning material can cause injury, sickness, and or skin irritation/rashes.

Cleaner/Janitor Job Requirements:
