Job summary

AMBAC International, a growing manufacturing organization, seeks a Temporary HR Assistant in Elgin, SC, for a three-month onsite assignment. Hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with occasional Fridays remote as permitted.

You will support recruiting, onboarding, records management, and HR initiatives, reporting to the Executive Advisor and People, Culture, and Talent leadership. You will organize files, coordinate postings, track progress, and assist committees while maintaining discretion with sensitive

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in a related field.
1–3 years of HR, recruiting, administrative, executive support, project coordination, or similar experience.
Experience with applicant tracking, HR systems, or electronic filing is helpful.

Responsibilities

Organize electronic and physical HR files and audit records for completeness.
Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, interviews, and onboarding.
Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, deadlines, and status updates.
Support CEO and Employee Ownership Committees by scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
Collect updates from leaders and maintain plans and reports for the Executive Team.
Coordinate training, leadership development, and employee communications.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
