Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

This is a full-time temporary position to cover an FMLA leave with the option to remain on staff PRN. New grads are welcome to apply; ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility is required, with active licensure in the state and CPR certification as a condition of hire.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology required
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility required
• Active state licensure in good standing required
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
• CPR certification by hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects
• Liaises with patients, families and departments to plan for patient needs
• Demonstrates professional conduct and adheres to confidentiality and policies
• Documents and updates patient care plans in a timely manner
