Qualifications

• Department specific competencies must be completed per department specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients, implements department protocols and provides nursing interventions and ongoing assessment.
• Actively facilitates patient flow in the department.
• Treats patients, families, co-workers and physicians politely, provides information and follow-up as assigned.
• Discharge patients with teaching materials and referrals; documents in EMR per policy.
• Maintains up-to-date nursing knowledge, certifications and training requirements.
