Mechanical Assembler / Box Build

Job Purpose

Mechanical Assembly of the final system builds installing circuit cards into systems.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• Assemble products or sub‑assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Hand soldering components and cables to PCBA.
• Touch‑up and repair/rework.
• Use of power screwdrivers and other hand tools such as torque screwdrivers, wire‑strippers, solder stations, pliers and wrenches.
• Read and interpret procedures and documentation.
• Lifting and moving boxes within the production area.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand Sanmina’s assembly instructions process documents.
• Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Must have experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lifting of 25 lbs or more several times a day.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
