Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a part-time warehouse support associate in Kansas City. You will monitor temperature-sensitive materials and assist with receiving, packing, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability across warehouse processes.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and less than 2 years of related experience; CSCP certification is preferred. The shift is Monday–Friday, 10am–2pm, with a pay rate of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
• Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.
