Job summary
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an Assistant Editor (Temporary) based in New York for the CNN FlashDocs unit. The role involves managing asset ingest, metadata origination, and building projects for feature content with focus on popular culture.

Qualifications
- Fully fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- 2+ years of AE experience.
- Experience working with a MAM in a post-production environment.
- Experience with metadata input and management.
- Experience with large sensor cinema cameras.
- Familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, PluralEyes, DaVinci Resolve, and post production workflows.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

We are seeking a Assistant Editor (Temporary) based in New York for the CNN FlashDocs documentary unit. FlashDocs will create content for linear with the opportunity to expand into additional platforms across CNN. This is an ambitious and exciting unit that requires strong leaders and creative storytellers who have experience producing feature content with a sharp focus on popular culture. The Assistant Editor will be a key member of the team.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $57,337.00 - $106,484.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
