Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related clerical accounting functions preferred.
• Experience working with financial records, invoices, payments, and data entry.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions within established deadlines.
• Review, audit, and process restitution payments and related financial documents.
• Research, upload, and maintain electronic records and supporting documentation.
• Process and distribute checks.
• Code and process transactions within financial management systems.
• Audit and process employee travel claims, including in-state, out-of-state, and extradition-related travel expenses.
• Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
• Organize and file accounting documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service.
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
