Job summary
Burgess recruitment is seeking a Temporary 2nd Engineer for a 100m+ motor yacht. You will support the engineering department with day-to-day operation, maintenance, and the efficient running of all onboard systems during rotations.
The position requires III/2 2nd Engineer unlimited ticket, prior 2nd Engineer experience on 80m+ vessels, shipyard experience, and a valid B1/B2 visa. Rotations include Europe and the Caribbean, with a single cabin provided.

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer. The successful candidate will support the engineering department with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and efficient running of all onboard systems.
- III/2 2nd Engineer unlimited ticket required
- Must have previous experience as 2nd Engineer on 80m+ vessels
- Shipyard experience
- Must have B1/B2 visa in hand
Start date: 12 October (fixed)
1st rotation: 12 October - 12 November (yard period in Europe with handover)
2nd rotation: 5 January - 28 February (Caribbean-Guest trip)
3rd rotation: 25 April - 20 June (Caribbean-Guest trip)
Salary: EUR 450 per day (only while on board)
Leave: Standard 3 day leave for each rotation (Cayman SEA)
Single cabin
Program & Itinerary- Private/Charter - Dual season. Europe yard period then Caribbean season.
