Job summary

Burgess recruitment seeks a Chief Steward(ess) for a 100m motor yacht. You will lead the interior team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service and housekeeping standards, and expertly manage reservations and provisioning. This role requires strong leadership and a keen eye for detail.

STCW, ENG 1, and FH level 2 are essential, with prior Chief Steward(ess) experience on a vessel of similar size. A B1/B2 visa is likely required.

Qualifications

• STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2 up to date and essential.
• Previous Chief Steward(ess) experience on similar sized vessels.
• Confident across interior operations including service, housekeeping, wine knowledge and bartending.
• Proficient in interior administration: provisioning, inventory, daily team coordination.
• Capability to handle guest requests, reservations and bookings professionally.

This role is ideally suited to a capable and motivated Chief Steward(ess) with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Requirements:

• STCW, ENG 1, FH level 2 essential and up to date
• Previous experience as Chief Steward(ess) on similar sized vessels
• Confident across all areas of the interior, including service, housekeeping, wine knowledge and bartending
• Competent in interior administration, including provisioning, inventory, and daily team coordination.
• Comfortable handling guest requests, making reservations, and managing bookings with professionalism and attention to detail
• A great leader who supports junior crew and maintains high standards across all interior operations
• B1/B2 visa required
