Job summary
Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking an experienced Materials Analyst for the Advanced Microscopy team to operate and analyze materials using TEM and STEM techniques. The role centers on supporting advanced materials and semiconductor analysis for diverse industries, with a focus on delivering site-specific results within tight client timelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering or related field
- Excellent operation and theory understanding of Transmission Electron Microscope
- Experience with TEM sample preparation and hard materials characterization
- Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis
- U.S. Person required due to ITAR regulations (citizenship or permanent residency)
Responsibilities
- Obtain TEM and STEM images of prepared samples
- Obtain STEM/EDX and STEM/EELS spectra, line scans and maps
- Organize data and deliver summary reports to customers
- Partner with customers and team members to optimize experiments and explain results
- Develop TEM analysis protocols for new sample types
