Responsibilities

Our Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and are critical in caring for our customers each day. As a Retail Banker, you will receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer experience by offering products and services that meet their needs. This role will develop your knowledge base and prepare you for advancement and a robust banking career at Woodforest. Key responsibilities include:

• Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
• Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
• Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of ATMs.
• Employing problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in line with the Woodforest Experience training.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience, or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.

Education & Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Other Details

• Full-time work status.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Little to no overnight travel; occasional coverage of nearby branches up to 45 miles.
• Standing most of the time, with walking, bending, sitting, and lifting up to 30 lbs. as needed.
