Our Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and play a critical role in caring for our customers daily. As a Retail Banker, you will receive training to successfully engage with customers and enhance their experience by offering suitable products and services. This role will help you develop a well-rounded knowledge base, preparing you for advancement and a robust career in banking at Woodforest. Key responsibilities include:

1. Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
2. Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
3. Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
4. Employing problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in line with the Woodforest Experience training.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• 3 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience; OR
• An Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree.

Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be positive and engaging.

Formal Education & Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status:

Full-time.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None.

Travel:

Little to no overnight travel expected. May require covering nearby branch locations up to 45 miles from your assigned branch based on business needs.

Working Conditions:

Standing most of the time, with occasional walking, bending, stooping, sitting, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
