Our Retail Bankers are the face of our organization and play a vital role in caring for our customers daily. As a Retail Banker, you will receive comprehensive training to effectively engage with customers and recommend products and services tailored to their needs. This role offers a solid foundation for career advancement within Woodforest. Key responsibilities include:

1. Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
2. Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
3. Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of ATMs.
4. Employing problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in line with the Woodforest Experience training.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• 3 years of relevant sales and/or customer service experience; or
• An Associate’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience; or
• A Bachelor’s degree.

Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be positive and engaging.

Formal Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Status:

• Full-time.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• None.

Travel:

• Little to no overnight travel expected, with occasional coverage of nearby branches up to 45 miles from your assigned location.

Working Conditions:

• Standing most of the time, with opportunities for walking, moving, bending, sitting briefly, and occasionally lifting items up to 30 lbs.
