Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller for our Redding, CA branch. You will perform banking transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, provide proactive solutions to clients, and deepen product knowledge while supporting branch goals.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and balancing the cash drawer, while maintaining compliance with bank procedures and regulatory requirements. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail with written numbers and instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Always perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and proper funds transfer.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and offer appropriate bank products.
• Maintain knowledge of Columbia Bank offerings and refer to business partners as needed.
• Work onsite under supervision of Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.
