Manasquan Bank in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a teller to accurately process routine financial transactions and deliver personalized customer service. The position supports cross-selling of bank products and requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cash handling experience.
The teller will handle deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, and other banking activities, while maintaining accuracy, privacy, and professional customer interactions in an open office environment.
Accurately process routine financial transactions for banking customers with an emphasis on personalized quality customer service at all times. Preparing and maintaining various reports, records and files. Promote and cross-sell Bank products and services. Excellent customer service is paramount in the performance of a teller, who is the first line of contact with customers. Maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction through efficient, effective, accurate and courteous processing of transactions is critical to the image presented by the Bank.
$19.00 - $22.00 Hourly
Working conditions are those of an open office environment, which can require the ability to manage some stress such as noise level from customers, employees, and general office equipment, etc. Daily use of wrists, hands, and fingers: to use computer, telephone, fax, copier, and general office equipment. Ability to hear and speak clearly for gathering simple to complex information from both customers and coworkers. Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours) of time, standing and walking up to 15% of work time. Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel within branch network.
