Job summary

Manasquan Bank in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a teller to accurately process routine financial transactions and deliver personalized customer service. The position supports cross-selling of bank products and requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cash handling experience.

The teller will handle deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, and other banking activities, while maintaining accuracy, privacy, and professional customer interactions in an open office environment.

• Excellent communication skill – verbal & listening.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Working knowledge of calculator and ability to be trained and efficiently operate banking system.
• Strong basic math ability.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions for banking customers with an emphasis on personalized quality service and in accordance with all Bank policies and procedures.
• Refer various Bank products and services to customers as needs are uncovered.
• Assist with filing, money counting, teller cash proof, answering phones, processing mail transactions and/or correspondence, reconciliation of ATM, as well as assisting in coin machine operations and proof, and completing daily audit of miscellaneous items.
• Available to travel within the branch network as needed to ensure adequate branch coverage.
• Daily use of Cash Recycler to include maintenance as needed and proof as designated.
• Reconcile coin machine daily, maintain coin bags and ensure proper operation of equipment.
