Job summary

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Part-Time Teller in Cedar Park to serve members with in-person banking and basic digital support. This role offers community-focused service in a supportive team with rotating Saturday coverage.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions, balance cash, and help members with account questions while promoting credit union products. This is a nonexempt, part-time position with starting pay of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or cash handling preferred.
• Comfort with computers and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide in-person service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and routine transactions.
• Balance cash drawer with accuracy.
• Assist members with account questions and digital banking support.
• Issue cards, handle check orders, and support branch needs.
• Identify member needs and recommend credit union products.
• Maintain security and cash-handling procedures.
• Support branch team with daily tasks and operations.
• Provide coverage at nearby branches to ensure consistent service.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work experience (customer service or cash handling preferred)

• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
• Flexibility to support rotating schedules, including Saturdays
• Willingness to travel to nearby branches to support staffing and service need
