Job summary

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly Part-Time Teller for our Pecan Park location. This role offers a supportive environment, a Monday–Friday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift with rotating Saturdays, and starting pay of $20 per hour.

You will help members with deposits, withdrawals, and everyday banking tasks while upholding accuracy and security. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and cash handling skills, and a customer-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in customer service or cash handling preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, and member-focused personality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with computers, cash handling, and basic math.
• Willingness to travel to nearby branches to support staffing.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide exceptional in-person service.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and routine transactions.
• Balance cash drawer with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist members with account questions and basic digital banking support.
• Issue cards, handle check orders, and support branch service needs.
• Identify member needs and recommend credit union products.
• Maintain security and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Support the branch team with daily tasks and operational needs.
• Provide coverage at nearby branch locations to ensure consistent service and staffing across the region.
