Job Description

The Teller Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to the Tellers in the banking center by modeling the highest level of customer service while processing transactions and offering products and services to potential and existing customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coaching Tellers to effectively identify opportunities with the customers they serve
• Managing Teller work schedules, monitoring overtime, and assigning tasks as needed throughout the day
• Training new Tellers to ensure procedures are understood and properly executed to adhere to internal controls
• Performing monthly surprise cash audits and month-end audit procedures
• Greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming, customer-focused environment
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers to identify financial products and services that meet their needs
• Processing routine customer transactions and assisting Tellers with more complex transactions
• Responding to customer inquiries and concerns to create positive solutions and outcomes

Required Skills:

• A minimum of two years of external banking experience in a teller role within the past two years, or at least three years of external banking experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience must include teller servicing and/or operational responsibilities
• Proven knowledge of banking products, services, procedures, and regulations
• Excellent customer service skills, including oral and written communication
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with customers
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to establish credibility quickly with customers and demonstrate confidence with peers
• Strong work ethic and high integrity
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (application, bond, and notary seal at the Bank's expense)

Physical Requirements:

This position requires long periods of standing or sitting, typing, and repetitive motion. Candidates must be able to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.

Banking Center Hours of Operation:

• Standard Hours: Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Shift differential available for certain hours: $5/hr for Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Availability to work weekend hours is required.
