Job summary

Delta Community Credit Union in Atlanta is hiring a Teller (Virginia Avenue) to deliver face-to-face member service, handle deposits, withdrawals and check cashing, and promote credit union products.

The role requires accuracy, teamwork and the ability to work a flexible schedule at multiple branch offices in the Atlanta area; a High School diploma and cash handling / customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months’ cash handling experience or 1+ years’ customer service in lieu of cash handling.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
• Comfortable working with little to no supervision in fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to sit/stand approximately 8 hours a day.
• Must be flexible in relieving multiple branch offices and willing to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Handle deposits, withdrawals and cash checks for members.
• Process mortgage and loan payments as needed.
• Promote, recommend and refer Delta Community Credit Union products and services.
• Maintain security of cash drawer and confidentiality of member accounts.
• Provide superior service to members and guest members.
