Fairmont Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller/Member Experience Representative in West Virginia. The role focuses on helping members, building relationships, and growing within financial services.

You will serve at the lobby, drive-thru, and offices, handle transactions, open accounts, and protect member information. Strong customer service and accuracy are essential; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work a schedule rotation based on operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Listen attentively and respond promptly to members’ needs with a solution focused approach.
• Serve members across multiple areas, including the lobby counter, drive-thru, and office spaces.
• Assess member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
• Process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and payments.
• Maintain and balance an assigned cash drawer in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Open and maintain accounts, debit cards, term share certificates, and online banking services.
• Maintains trust and responsibility by keeping all member information confidential and in a secure location.
• Stay current on—and ensure compliance with—all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Teller / Member Experience Representative

Location:We’re currently hiring for our locations in Marionand Harrison County. Final branch placement will be determined based on business needs and candidate preference, when possible. Member Experience Representatives may cover other locations or be assigned to a different home branch, based on operational need.

Job Type:Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40Hours Per Week

Hours:Monday – Saturday, based on operational need.

Starting Pay:From $18.00per hour, commensurate withexperience and qualifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have obtained a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be available to work a schedule rotation based on operating hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• One to three years of related experience, such as customer service, retail, or teller work.
• Strong communication and member service skills.
• Proficiency with computers, calculators, and related software.
• Accurate cash handling and solid, basic math skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and tact.
• Self-motivated, solution oriented, and detail focused.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and proficiently manage multiple tasks.
• High accuracy when working with numbers and confidential member information.
• Strong analytical skills to support sound decision-making in member transactions.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to walk and sit; needs to be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must frequently or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
