Job summary

Sound Credit Union in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Teller / Member Service Representative to greet members, handle transactions, and provide clear account information with a focus on service excellence. This full-time, in-branch role offers a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus.

Hours are typically Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; prior customer service experience is preferred, and notary/NMLS may be required for higher levels. Bondable status is required.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a customer service position required.
• Cash handling and retail sales experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be bondable.
• Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact, you will assist our members with financial transactions, respond to inquiries, build relationships, and provide information on account status, balances, and loan details to deliver exceptional member service.
• Support ongoing member needs with accuracy and courtesy, ensuring security and confidentiality of all financial information.
• Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and maintain a positive, helpful environment.
