Job summary

Liberty First Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller at the LaVista Branch. You will handle member transactions, promote prudent borrowing and saving, and assist members with various financial services.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, checks, money orders, and card transactions, while maintaining security and customer service standards. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a high school education, with potential for wage growth and development through the Teller

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and customer service preferred.
• Some teller experience helpful.
• High school degree plus some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process teller transactions including deposits and loan products (night drop, mail, general ledger).
• Sell money orders, cashier's checks, gift cards, redeem savings bonds, and handle check card requests.
• Handle credit card cash advances and payments; encode savings bonds; scan checks.
• Assist members in and out of safe deposit area.
• Open and close day procedures; manage holds and prevent fraud; respond to member inquiries.
• Assist lending and new accounts staff with onboarding and learning financial services.
