Qualifications

• High School Graduate or the equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion of Southside Bank training courses: New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Teller Advanced and Professional Teller.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and change orders with accuracy.
• Refer questionable items to management and maintain transaction validity.
• Provide enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to customers and employees.
• Balance cash drawer and meet balancing standards; follow policies to avoid fraudulent activity.
