Job Description:

Office Location: Conroe, Texas, United States

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Process financial transactions promptly and accurately.
  2. Strictly adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
  3. Prioritize client demands.
  4. Provide impeccable customer service.
  5. Communicate professionally with all clients and colleagues.
  6. Maintain understanding of all banking products and services, along with company systems and procedures.
  7. Participate in job-specific training, various bank training programs such as customer service, and comply with BSA, AML, and all bank policies and procedures as required. Other duties as assigned.
  1. Actively participate in the Customer Service First program and support organizational values, following established policies and procedures.
  2. Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
  3. Saturday hours and holiday hours may be required based on your branch location's hours of operation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. A self-starting team player with a High School diploma or GED.
  2. Options include:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 6 months previous teller experience within the financial industry
    • 6 months previous cash handling experience (including balancing a cash drawer) in a retail customer service environment
  3. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  4. Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft programs, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and minimal supervision.
  6. The role may be mentally and physically demanding, requiring standing most of the day and lifting or moving heavy currency and coin bags weighing up to 60 pounds.
  7. Must be able to work flexible and extended hours as needed.
  8. Periodic travel to Abilene or other Bank Regions for training is required.
  9. Saturday and holiday hours may be required based on branch hours.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
