A leading company in Jacksonville is seeking a Teller I who will conduct transactions efficiently while promoting bank products. The role requires effective communication and basic math skills, with responsibilities including cash handling and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and a positive attitude.
The Teller I conducts transactions with speed, accuracy, and efficiency while meeting or exceeding service quality standards. The Teller I safeguards bank assets assigned to them and contributes to the growth of the bank by promoting and cross-selling bank products and services.
High school diploma or GED, with emphasis on office or shop skills, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective communication in person and small group settings with customers, clients, and staff.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with money and measurements.
Ability to understand and carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations.
None required; not indicated as preferred.
Basic proficiency in 10-Key, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
No supervisory responsibilities.
Periodic exposure to noise, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs; environment usually moderate noise level.
Requires talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs; vision requirements include close vision.
