Job summary

Mutual 1st Federal Credit Union in Omaha is seeking a friendly Teller to greet members by name, handle their financial needs, and provide outstanding service at the front line of our branch network. You will process a variety of transactions, balance daily, and work with multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

A minimum of six months in financial services is preferred, with regular and reliable attendance a must.

• Six months of financial industry or related experience required.
• Must provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to operate multiple systems at once.
• Accurate balancing and transaction accuracy essential.
• Dependable and regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal service to members, greeting by name and addressing needs in one visit.
• Process a variety of transactions including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
• Work across multiple financial systems concurrently.
• Ensure accurate daily balancing and correct opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain attention to detail and high service standards.

We serve over 11,000 members in the Omaha Metro area and our Member Service Representatives are the front line to our members.

Essential Functions:

• Provide personal service to members; greeting them by name, resolving all their needs in one visit, and thanking them for their business.
• Comfortable processing a variety of financial transactions including but not limited to: loan payments, deposits, withdrawls, and check cashing.
• Ability to work in multiple systems, sometimes at the same time.
• Has a keen eye for detail to ensure correct daily balancing, opening and closing procedures are followed, and accurate member transactions are completed.
• Has at least six months of financial industry or related experience.
• Excellent, professional service is your passion.
• Regular and predictable attendance

Starting pay: $17/hour
