Job summary

Provident Credit Union in the Peninsula region is seeking a friendly floating Teller to join our team. You will travel to our branches, assist members with everyday transactions, and represent the credit union.

This role offers exposure to multiple locations, opportunities to build relationships, and the chance to learn about a wide range of products and services while delivering excellent member service. Proven cash-handling ability and a flexible schedule are valued, with a focus on accuracy,

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cash handling or retail banking experience.
• Strong customer service and sales referral skills.
• Ability to operate in multiple branch locations as a floater.

Our floating Tellers are introduced to the many locations and communities Provident serves. They travel to our branches to fill in where needed. They handle cash, interact with our members and seek opportunities to share information about us and the products and services we offer to help them manage their finances successfully. This position opens the door to a variety of future career possibilities with Provident. It is also an ideal way to take us for a test drive and determine which branch you like the best. One float position will primarily provide coverage for the East Bay region (Daly City, Alameda, Millbrea, San Mateo, and San Francisco), but may cover other branches on occasion.
