Job description

Job Title: Teller

American National Bank is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Teller to serve the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle cash transactions accurately, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:45 am and 5:45 pm; rotating Saturday 8:15 am - 12:15 pm. The primary location is Nebraska City, with the ability to float to other locations in SE Nebraska.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality client service while processing transactions and supporting sales initiatives.
2. Record all transactions, prepare daily cash settlements, and proof transactions according to branch procedures.
3. Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and credit card cash advances.
4. Perform clerical duties such as answering calls, processing mail and deliveries, filing, and typing.

Experience and Education:

1. Four to six months of teller or equivalent client service and cash handling experience.
2. Previous sales experience is preferred.
3. High school diploma or equivalent required.
