Job summary

Charlevoix State Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Teller to serve customers in our Michigan communities. You will determine needs, assist with account onboarding, IRA/HSAs, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities include cash handling, deposits, balance inquiries, account maintenance, and collaborating with Operations to meet customer needs while upholding bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail banking operations and customer service.
• Ongoing education of compliance regulatory requirements.
• Ability to onboard new customers and support IRAs/HSAs.
• Ability to handle sensitive private matters with discretion.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in person or by phone to determine their needs.
• Onboard new customers and support IRA and HSA.
• Ensure required documentation is obtained and kept current.
• Assist in processing deposits, withdrawals, and balance inquiries.
• Balance end-of-day postings and assist bookkeeping.
• Operate core banking software and card terminals.
