Job summary

Legacy Bank is hiring a Teller in Wichita, KS. You will be the face of our mission, handling transactions, assisting customers, and promoting banking products and services while upholding security and accuracy.

The role emphasizes building customer relationships, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining daily records in a fast-paced branch environment. Strong integrity and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience recommended.
• Ability and willingness to work a rotating open/close schedule including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions for customers including, but not limited to: receiving funds, posting transactions and paying out funds as requested, issuing cashier's checks, gift cards, and completing change orders.
• Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any discrepancies.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.
• Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for managers in fulfilling customer requests and merchant verifications.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, OFAC and security policies.
