Job summary

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a part-time Teller (LPT16) to greet members and non-members and handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions with accuracy. Under the Branch Officer, you will balance the cash drawer, educate members about products, maintain compliance, and provide friendly, confidential service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Six months of related experience preferred.
Good verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy.
Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn the core banking system.

Responsibilities

Greet members and non-members and provide information on transactions, products and services.
Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and other transactions accurately.
Balance cash drawer and assist with branch balancing.
Educate and refer Credit Union products and services to members.
Deescalate challenging member situations with sound judgment.
Learn and understand all deposit and loan products and services.
Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity or inconsistencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
