Job summary

Dirigo Federal Credit Union in Maine is launching a new Scarborough branch and seeks a friendly Teller to join our member-focused team. This 40-hour/week, on-site role involves welcoming members, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers while educating members about credit union products and services.

You will contribute to community outreach, uphold policies and security procedures, and help us grow as a trusted local financial partner for Southern Maine families.

Qualifications

• Prior cash-handling, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt.
• Ability to reliably be at work on time and as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greet members with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming branch environment
• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
• Educate members on credit union products and services, helping them make informed financial decisions
• Support new branch initiatives and community outreach as we establish our presence in Southern Maine
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements
