Job summary

Longview Bank – Georgetown Branch is seeking a Part-Time Teller to handle debits/credits, answer inquiries, identify counterfeit currency, and assist with loan payments and safe deposit operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and excellent customer service in a team environment, with flexible hours and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required unless enrolled in high school.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Debits and credits to customer accounts via computer and examines for endorsements, receiving proper identification.
• Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories, and refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
• Identify counterfeit currency.
• Accept loan payments, verify payment amounts, accounts to apply to, & issues receipts as needed.
• Admit customers to the safe deposit box vault and assist with entry to their box(es).
• Maintain appropriate logs: cashier’s checks, cash, money orders, CTR’s and, etc.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Complete all training required by management and comply with all bank policies and procedures.
• Comply with BSA/AML training and report any suspicious activity to the BSA officer.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.

• Monday-Thursday: 11:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
• Friday: 12:00 p.m.-5:45 p.m.
• Saturday: 7:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Experience

• Customer service: Minimum 1 year required (e.g., Retail, Sales, Financial Services)
• Cash handling: Previous experience preferred
• Banking: Previous experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of office setting experience preferred.
