Job summary

Texell Credit Union in Belton, TX is seeking a Full Time Teller who will work about 35 hours per week in our Belton Branch. You will handle routine transactions, assist members, and educate them on Texell's products and services.

We value loyalty, customer service, and the ability to refer products while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Applicants should be able to work drive-thru or lobby hours, including every other Saturday, and be proficient with Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work drive-thru or lobby hours and every other Saturday.
• Two or more years with current employer; loyalty important.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling; banking experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with sales and referring Texell products.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel).
• Ability to provide empathetic, WOW service to members.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
• Work with high level of detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Educate members on Texell's products and services; may earn monthly incentives.
• Perform additional functions during downtime such as calling members about current promotions and rates.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is available to work our drive-thru and/or lobby hours during the week and every other Sat.
• Can stand on their feet throughout the day and adhere to a professional business dress code with closed-toe dress shoes.
• Has been with their employer(s) two or more years. Job loyalty is important to us.
• Has previous customer service and cash handling experience. Banking experience is a plus.
• Is comfortable with sales and referring products!
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 products such as Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Provides empathy and exceptional service. Every member interaction is a chance to provide a WOW experience.

As a Teller, you will:

• Perform financial transactions with 100% accuracy. Duties include check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cash advances, and much more.
• Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
• Work with high level attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Educate our members on Texell's products and services. It is our responsibility to inform our members on all the great things Texell has to offer! In doing so, you could earn monthly incentives.
• Perform additional functions according to credit needs during down time such as calling members and telling them about our current promotions, rates, and more!
