Job summary

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a part-time Teller (Client Service Associate) at the North Carson branch in Carson City, NV. You will process transactions, support client needs, and promote bank services in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

The role requires prior cashiering or customer service experience, good math skills, and the ability to cross-sell. Benefits start day one and include paid time off and holidays; part-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Basic math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, banking knowledge.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately in line with policies and procedures, maintaining balancing records.
• Identify and address clients' needs by offering services such as new accounts, ATM cards, money transfers, checks, and loan payments.
• Resolve client issues directly or via referrals to branch resources or other bank channels.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by understanding client needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are now accepting applications for a part time 20-hour Teller (Client Service Associate) to join the team located at our North Carson branch in Carson City, NV.

Essential Functions:

• Be responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients' problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell bank opportunities through exploring needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay range (depending on experience): $18 - $20/hour
