Job summary

Winchester Savings Bank is seeking a Teller to join our Main Office in Winchester, MA. The role handles routine customer transactions, cash handling, and product knowledge to provide courteous, accurate service.

This position offers an hourly wage of $18.50–$20.00 and requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior cash handling and customer service experience is preferred. You will balance cash, process deposits/withdrawals, and assist with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; cash checks within approval limit
• Accept foreign checks for collection
• Buy and sell foreign currency for customers
• Issue money orders and treasurer's checks
• Maintain and balance an assigned cash box; balance cash and work at day’s end
• Process mail transactions
• Order and verify exchanges of cash with main cash vault
• Redeem Savings Bonds
• Identify BSA transactions
• Identify Funds Availability transactions
• Be knowledgeable with the Bank's products and services
• Properly quote interest rates
• Verify and process daily night bag deposits
• Assist with ATM settlement when requested
• Attain referral goals as assigned
• Adhere to the Customer Service Standards
• Cover switchboard as necessary
• May have check signing authority
• Perform additional duties as required
