Job summary

First Southern is seeking a part-time teller to serve as the bank's primary face-to-face representative for most customers. You will assist customers by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and fielding inquiries.

You will uphold policies, deliver excellent customer service, educate customers on bank products, maintain product knowledge, handle complaints, and adapt to changing technology while maintaining discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service teller transaction processing in accordance with company policy and standards.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures and regulations, including the customer identification program, Reg CC, and BSA.
• Project excellent customer relations while delivering a positive banking/customer service experience.
• Inform and educate customers on First Southern products and services offered that would benefit the customer.
• Maintain product knowledge and expertise on First Southern products and services.
• Field customer service complaints and concerns, seek appropriate assistance, and follow up to ensure a complete and appropriate resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
