Job summary

Honor Credit Union in South Haven is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Teller to handle daily member transactions and provide excellent service. The role focuses on accurate deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, and related requests while maintaining security and cash accuracy.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, cash advances and other requests.
• Maintain cash and confidential information security while balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals.
• Actively engage membership to identify unrealized financial needs and recommend effective solutions.
• Support branch growth by achieving established referral goals.
• Ensure members are promptly and professionally served.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Abilities generally acquired on the job. Cash handling and customer service experience is strongly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
