Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Illinois seeks a customer-focused Teller to provide high-quality service, process deposits and withdrawals, handle cash transactions, and support cross-selling of bank services.

This role requires accuracy, discretion, and the ability to balance cash at end of shift, work with teammates, and maintain compliance with banking regulations. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Summary:Under general supervision, while conforming to established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing high-quality customer service.Position Expectations• Demand deposit and savings account transactions, safety deposit box activities (if available)• Check cashing and selling monetary instruments.• Cross-sell bank services and make product referrals.• Will attend training sessions and participate in training exercises for various banking topics.• Balance each day’s transactions and verify cash totals.• Assist with balancing ATMs and the TCR.• Assists other tellers with balancing, resolving problem situations as required.• Will be cross trained to perform Universal Banker duties if needed.• Also performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.• The analytical ability to resolve balancing discrepancies.• Maintain strict confidentiality.• Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies and procedures.Required Education and Experience• High school diploma or G.E.D.
