Job summary

Clock Tower Community Bank, a division of Morton Community Bank, invites applicants to join our team in East Peoria. The role focuses on delivering top-rate service, processing routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

You'll balance the cash drawer daily, promote bank products, and assist customers with checks, money orders, and currency exchange. A high school diploma is preferred; teamwork and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers and accurately manage transactions, including cashing checks, deposits, and withdrawals, and processing loan payments and money transfers.
• Prepare cashier's checks, personal money orders, and currency exchange.
• Receive and verify loan and mortgage payments.
• Balance currency, cash, and checks in the cash drawer daily.
• Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank products.
• Promote MCB’s products and services; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Provides top rate service to all customers by providing accurate and efficient service. Processes and records routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Responsible for professionally promoting MCB’s products and services.

• Identify customers and accurately manage various transactions, including validating and cashing checks, accepting cash and/or checks for deposit, receiving and counting working cash, and processing cash withdrawals.
• Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier's checks, personal money orders, and exchanging foreign currency.
• Perform services for customers such as ordering bank cards and checks.
• Receive and verify loan payments and mortgage payments.
• Balance currency, cash, and checks in cash drawer at end of each day.
• Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products.
• Other duties as assigned.
