Job summary

Morton Community Bank is seeking a Loss Mitigation/Recovery Associate in Springfield, IL to handle delinquent accounts and related legal actions. You will communicate with borrowers, document actions for compliance, and participate in foreclosures and REO processes.

Responsibilities

  • Contact the individual and discuss the details of the money owed.
  • Remind the client of the sale, credit or contract conditions.
  • Keep extensive documentation of all actions taken for legal purposes.
  • Participate in the collection process including loss mitigation, foreclosures, repossessions, pre charge-off, charge-off, recovery, bankruptcy, and agency liaison collections.
  • Perform routine daily tasks; review reports, prepare correspondence; participate in special projects.
  • Conduct repossessed sales (buyer contact, marketing, etc).
  • Assist with the management of REO (sales, showings, potential buyer contact, communication with realtor).
  • Communicates with attorneys and participates in the legal action initiation ranging from judgments, BK filings, estate filings, foreclosure action

Pay or shift range: $24.99 to $35.24 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary
