Job summary

U.S. Pacific Fleet in San Diego invites applications for an IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN) to support the Naval Surface & Mine Warfighting Dev Center.

Requirements include a Ph.D. or three years of graduate study in computer science, engineering or related fields (or 24 semester hours with relevant system development experience). A Top Secret clearance is required. Telework is eligible.

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant technical field.
• Or 3 full years of progressively higher graduate level education in one of the identified fields; or 24 semester hours with required development/adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

• Serve as IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN) and primary point of contact for SMWDC missions.
• Support Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center's strategic mission.
