Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Regional Director to administer programs across a geographic area, reporting to the Director of Facilities. The role directs strategic operations for financial and business divisions, manages the regional budget, and builds key relationships across government and community stakeholders.

It requires strong leadership, policy understanding, and ability to supervise multiple units. Telework is eligible; travel up to 30% is expected.

Formación

• Experience managing facilities, financial, and leasing programs.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relevant to public administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
• Experience supervising staff and budgeting in a government setting.

Responsabilidades

• Directs programs for a geographic area designated by HHSC.
• Manages all aspects of the budget including requests, monitoring, and expenditures.
• Develops relationships with internal leaders and elected officials.
• Provides vision and leadership in goals, policies, and training initiatives.
• Supervises staff and coordinates activities across units.
