Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Austin seeks a Clearinghouse Coordinator to oversee forensic waitlists and admission processes. You will coordinate with courts, jails, LMHAs, and providers to ensure timely case information and admission flow.

The role requires knowledge of criminal procedures, EMR systems, and strong data/reporting capabilities, with opportunities for professional growth and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology, social work, psychology.
• Experience with the Code of Criminal Procedures and Texas Administrative Code.
• Experience with Avatar or other EMR preferred.
• Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forensic clearinghouse waitlists and admission processes.
• Coordinate notifications to identify state hospitals for urgent cases.
• Engage with courts, jails, LMHAs, private providers to obtain essential clinical information.
• Prepare and deliver detailed data reports on submissions and trends.
• Support policy review related to forensic admissions and waitlists.
