Job summary

Array Behavioral Care is seeking a licensed therapist for a 100% remote telepsychiatry role serving patients in Alaska. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with licensure support for Alaska and a focus on life-span mental health care.

The role emphasizes intake, therapy, video-based assessments, de-escalation, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, while maintaining EMR documentation and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed in therapy: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMSW.
• Active state license required with independent practice eligibility.
• 1–3 years of post-licensure experience.
• Proficient with technology and telehealth platforms.
• Trauma-focused training or TF-CBT/EMDR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services such as intake, therapy and counseling.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an opportunity for a therapist with an active Alaska license for a 100% telepsychiatry position. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and will allow you to provide services remotely for patients accessing care from an Alaskan Tribal Health Organization. Patient population is across the lifespan.

Array will assist with licensure if you are not currently licensed in Alaska.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide mental health services such as intake, therapy and counseling

• Provide video-based behavioral health assessment with patients

• Assist with de-escalation and stabilization

• Phone or video capture any readily available collateral information from other sources

• Analyze psychological/psychosocial aspects of individual interrelationships to gain understanding of an individual’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors

• Provide written recommendation on next level of assessment or care

• Maintain documentation within partner site’s EMR

• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for all

• Provide observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context

• Maintain all required certifications and licenses

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Licensed in therapy: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMSW

• Clinicians must have active state license

• Professional licensure must enable independent practice

• 1-3 years of experience since obtaining unrestricted license

• Intermediate to advanced experience with technology

• Strong communication skills

• Established and updated CAQH profile strongly preferred

• Culturally responsive therapists who can work effectively with tribal communities and patients affected by trauma.

• Clinicians who understand the impact of intergenerational trauma, substance use, and suicide risk within Native American populations.

• Training or certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is preferred.

POSITION LOGISTICS

• 100% remote position

• Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality

• You will likely be required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses. We will support that process and cover the costs and/or reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
