Job summary

Northwell Health Department of Behavioral Health seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team in Manhattan, New York. Telepsychiatry delivers consults to ED and Med/Surg departments using videoconferencing, with 24/7 support from a Behavioral Health Counselor.

We offer 12-shift full-time and 6-shift/month part-time overnight options, with academic appointment opportunities and leadership roles within a premier academic system.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.
• Superior computer and EHR skills.
• Ability to assess ED and CL patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide Telepsychiatry consultations to adult and pediatric ED and Med/Surg departments.
• Work 24/7 with dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor support.
• Deliver care via two-way audiovisual technology from a state-of-the-art telehealth service.
